Only by ship someone could visit the other islands of this small island group: Thimiana with their few inhabitants and the picturesque fishing port, and, in the east of Fourni, the uninhabited islet of Agios Minas, with its magnificent beaches.
Fourni is well known as a great fishing spot. It is not by chance that this small island has one of the most remarkable fishing fleets of the Northeastern Aegean, and most inhabitants are fishermen.
The tourist infrastructure of the island is still in its infancy. Fourni is an island group of three islets (Fourni, Thimena and Agios Minas), located between Ikaria and Samos. Fourni is the largest of the three islets and the one that has given its name to the whole group.
