Tinos is the forth in size island in the Cyclades (with a surface of 194,59 square kms) after Naxos,Andros and Paros. It has a population of 8636 inhabitants (according to the census of 2011) and 62 settlemets. It belongs to the northern Cyclades and lies south –east of Andros and north-west of Mykonos.
